In what has to be one of the coolest tools on the market today, Aputure has taken its original DEC adapter and made it better by integrating a .75x focal reducer in to the adapter for micro 4/3 cameras. This focal reducer provides an additional 1 stop advantage in light, shallower depth of field, and the reduction of focal length. The main feature of the DEC Lens adapter though is the ability to remotely focus and control aperture 2.4G wireless remote. The controller offers variable speed control for focus pulls up to 30 seconds, A-B control for perfect focus pulls between 2 set points, and even control of aperture and record directly from the remote. 

This could be a game changer for videographers especially those who rely on complicated and bulky follow focus rigs or for shooting without access to the camera such as on a jib or gimbal.
