Sony's modified A7 is now prepped and ready for release with a $2499 price tag and July release date. Sony DSC-RX100 III Announced with faster glass
Sony is back with the DSC-RX100 III sporting a brand new 24-70mm equivalent f1.8-f2.8 super fast lens. Given that the slow (at telephoto) lens f1.8-f4.9 was one of my biggest issues with the RX100 II, this is a very welcome upgrade. The new camera looks extremely similar and houses the same sensor with a new faster processor. It also houses a pop up high resolution EVF which is a very interesting addition. The camera is due out at the end of June for $799.
