Sony A7RII 4k & 1080P Overheating Video Test
One of the biggest concerns of the Sony A7RII is overheating, especially during 4k recording. So I took my A7RII outside in Florida Summer 90 Degree heat to see if overheating was an issue. Check out the video past the break for the full results.

Sony Alpha A7RII Review
This has probably been the most excited I have been about a camera in quite a few years and for a good reason, Sony pulled out all the stops and threw everything plus the kitchen sink in this camera. I don't care what you shoot and who you shoot it for, you need the a7R II in your bag. Feel free to hit me up on Facebook & twitter to follow the latest info on this camera and others. As usual, I always appreciate your support by using the links below when making your purchases and helping me keep the lights on. So enough with the housekeeping and let's see what this camera is capable of.

Sony a7RII AF test with Canon lenses
This was the first feature I had to test. Could the a7r II really focus using Canon lenses with the speed and accuracy of native lenses? If so, this is game changing so check out the video to find out and stay tuned for the full a7rII review and comparison with the Canon 5D Mark III. Check out the full video after the break.

Sony RX100 IV Hands On Review
4k video and a 1" 20MP BSI sensor in your back pocket? I go hands on with the new Sony RX100 Mark IV to see if this $950 camera can deliver where it counts. Sony stuffed quite a bit into this (almost) pocket size camera without cutting corners, especially on the video side of things where you will find their new codec with 4k recording up to 100Mbps and even s-log2. Check out and download the full resolution RAW and JPEG files after the break.

Aputure Light Storm LS 1/2w LED Light Review
An LED Light Panel with a CRI over 95, Metal build, and a feature set that will satisfy the pros are tough to find. Finding one 22mm thick at under $500 was impossible, until now. But perfection on a budget is a heck of a goal so check out the Lightstorm LS 1/2w review for a full breakdown on how this light performed. Check out the full review after the break.

Sigma 24-35mm f2 Lens Announced
This is a bit unexpected...Sigma has announced a new 24-35mm f2 zoom lens featuring similar optical performance to the Sigma 35mm f1.4 which I reviewed previously and was (still am) a big fan of. While the Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 (also reviewed) offered an amazing range with a wide aperture, it was still limited to APS-C cameras. However, Sigma's new 24-35mm f2 lens will now work on full frame cameras!
We should expect availability in the next 6 weeks for Canon cameras with Nikon & Sony usually following later. The price has not yet been announced but expect it to be higher than the $799 price tag on the 18-35mm. Unfortunately I find the new 24-35mm to be decidedly less useful. While Sigma touts the ability to replace both 24mm and 35mm prime lenses, the slower aperture will certainly be missed. Unless the price is low, I would likely prefer having the f1.4 apertures on the 24 and 35mm lenses than the convenience of a free spot in my bag.
